What a joy it is to be back from sabbatical. I am deeply grateful for the gift of rest, and I’m returning with renewed vision and an even deeper commitment to partnering with you to create a community where every life is valued and every life knows its worth. I was reminded while I was away that one of the most powerful ways we build that community together is through prayer.

During my sabbatical, I stepped away from nearly every connection to Bella Vita. But one connection remained: our Hearts on the Wall prayer texts. For a season, prayer became my only window into what was happening. I would receive a text and stop to pray alongside you for our staff and volunteers, for a mother facing an unimaginable decision, and for a precious unborn life hanging in the balance.

And then, sometimes, another message would come: She choose life.

If you’ve received one of those videos, you know the joy of realizing that a life you prayed for has been given another chapter. You were part of standing in the gap for that mother and child. And I can only imagine the celebration in heaven when a heart turns from fear toward hope and life.

This is the privilege we have together. We stand in the gap, we ask God to move in moments we may never personally witness, trusting that he hears us.

If you haven’t joined Hearts on the Wall yet, I would love to invite you in. Will you stand with us in prayer for women, families, and precious lives in the moments when the stakes are highest?

What a privilege it is to labor alongside you in prayer, trusting God with every life and every story.
