On May 9th, 2025 the Toledo community celebrated the grand opening of Laurie’s Place, a collaborative effort between Bella Vita Network and Mom’s House that marks a new chapter of hope and support for local families. Located next to The Pregnancy Center of Greater Toledo, Laurie’s Place doubles Mom’s House’s capacity to serve parents and children, while also providing a home for Bella Vita’s expanding parenting and pregnancy education programs. The new “To-get-her Space” wing will host over two dozen community partners, offering comprehensive resources from job services to mental health support. Named in honor of Laurie Moore, whose legacy of hospitality and compassion inspires the center’s mission, Laurie’s Place stands as a promise that every parent in Toledo will find encouragement, education, and a welcoming community. With programming set to grow and families already arriving, Laurie’s Place is poised to become a hub of transformation and opportunity for years to come.
